And Experience Of Our Technical Team

David A. Glocker, PhD,
Founder and President of Isoflux Biomed.

Dr. Glocker is one of the world’s leading experts on cylindrical magnetron technology. He holds 29 U.S. patents in key areas related to plasma treatment, cylindrical magnetrons and sputtering processes. And he has more than 25 years experience in vacuum coating and plasma treatment processes. He founded Isoflux in 1993.

As a group leader at Eastman Kodak Company, Dr. Glocker was responsible for developing manufacturing processes for new products and scaling them up for production. He earned his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from Washington and Lee, William and Mary, and Clemson University respectively.

Joseph E. Miller, Jr.,
Vice President of Isoflux Biomed.

Prior to joining Isoflux in 2000, Mr. Miller was President of S&W X-ray Inc., a leading distributor of medical products in the Northeast.

Under his leadership, S&W grew into an $80 million-dollar company before it was acquired by a major medical supply firm. Mr. Miller earned his B.A. in economics from LeMoyne College and his MBA from SUNY-Buffalo.

Mark M. Romach,
Production Manager at Isoflux Biomed.

Mr. Romach has 25 years experience in vacuum coating technology in both R&D and manufacturing environments. He also holds 11 U.S. patents. Since he joined Isoflux in 2000, he has played a key role in the development and refinement of our equipment and coating processes.

Before he became a member of our technical team, Mr. Romach worked at Eastman Kodak Company where he developed a number of innovative coating and surface treatment processes. He earned his AAS degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from SUNY-Alfred.
